Vulcan Question

Recommended Posts

I use my Vulcan V2 for 2 weeks then go back to TSGs for 2 weeks and rotate my V2 is brand new with the Chrom spring and I've used it 6 times total I went from level 15 to 16 in two weeks and now this week I hit level 17 my question is am I getting stronger or is the spring getting weaker? I know that if you RGC a V2 and it holds open at a high level it will weaken the spring but mine is brand new

You have gotten stronger man, you can make big jumps when you first start out with a new implement especially since you have strong hands already.

I think it's probably more that you are learning/getting more comfortable with the vulcan. there's a learning curve. even if you were already using tsg's there's enough of a difference that it takes some time to really show what you can do with one.

When extension springs get older, they can lose their tension and the spring becomes elongated. This is rare but it does still happen. If the extension spring develops small gaps between the coils when it is at rest, the spring is fatigued. Extension springs are made to have at least 10,000 to 15,000 cycles.
