50lb Blob Preacher Curls

Looking to make the Blob Curl as strict as possible, Luke decided to try it on the front of the Glute Ham for a Preacher-Curl style lift.

It is CRAZY how hard the eccentric phase of this lift is. I'm sure I could get 3 or 4 reps if it were concentric-only, but the eccentric portion just plays havoc on the wrist.

Nuts... just nuts. Be careful tho I hurt myself repping a 40# back last September. Bicep has never been the same since in terms of strength and fullness.

Agree w/ Jon; Hurt my RH bicep/brach area when working on 50 lb. Blob curls a couple months ago, still bothers me a little w/ the Inch.
