HandsMcHanderson Posted November 25, 2015 Share Posted November 25, 2015 I prefer WSBB as far as PL goes. 5x5 works fine as a base program (the original and any variant Bill wrote in The Strongest Shall Survive work well) Rippetoe, Madcow, Stronglifts are all 3rd party variants after the fact and have worked better for some than others. What it comes down to is who is using the routine and for what purpose, no recommendation should be given without 1st understanding the current condition of the person the routine will be for.
