I've decided to start this log because i dont know anyone interested in grip strenght or in weights.

My goals are:

red nail cert

CoC 3 cert

ghp 8 cert

100 kg on RT

i hit chest today but i got pain in my right elbow so stayed very light with bench press;

warm up:

2x12 50kg

2x8 80 kg

working:

6x5 110kg

2x20 50 kg speed

Bending(all done in IM pads no rubber bands)

2 nj nails 8

6 inches red nail(PR)

3 easy 60 penny nails taped together

RT(each hand)

2x6 60 kg

2x2 80kg

1 rep 85 kg(right hand)

light abs workout

Right now i'm having troubles uploading on youtube but i'll post a video of the 6 inches red nail soon.

Right hand

warm up:

rb 130 2x12

hg 250 3 TNS

working:

GHP 8(178 lbs)mms close x 1

GHP 8(178 lbs)wider than mms x 1

GHP 8(178 lbs)mms x 1

elite mms x 1

coc 3 ccs x 2

coc 2,5 mms x 27

Left hand

warm up:

as above

working:

m2 x 1

m2 x 1

m2 x 1

coc 3 ccs almost(1-2 mm left)

coc 2,5 mms x 17

IM wrist roller on a bar at 5 feet:

4 sets x 155 pounds up and down both sides(this thing is awesome)

abs workout and high reps lateral rises for shoulders

Ahh, have to follow this :)

I've read almost half your log now and only thing Im stronger than you at is deadlifting and squats. Grips is really far behind :(

Got any tips for grippertraining and RTtraining?

Those are my main grip feats right now. :)

Well i am not an expert about RT,the only thing I've done with it is lift heavy;about grippers from my little experience i can say this:do often attempts on gripper that you can't close and stay in the 1-3 reps range.

Finally try to build massive forearms cause size does matter.

2x6 BW+20 kg-45 lbs

2x3 BW+30 kg-66 lbs

2x1 BW+40 kg-90 lbs

1x20 BW

1x15 BW

Barbell curls:

3x12 60kg

Concentration curls:

3x20 16 kg each arm

some levering workout

My forearms are burning,i need some rest but i'm gonna try a 5,5 red nail soon.

Love it! I've started training more with my bodyweight and this is hard core bw-training :)

I did a similar workout today but not as brutal as yours :)

Im weak in the chinup/pullup but since Im strong in deadlifts and dumbellrows I figure I can get good at this too!

Yeah i bought the dipping belt from IM only few weeks ago but that thing rocks!!!i love pull-ups cause they build both mass and strength.

Then concentration curl is the best of the best for biceps,there are many videos of arnold doing that with an AWESOME form.

Today i got a huge PR;i had to rest but instead,walking in the garage, i saw a red nail and without thinking i bent it in ONE IM pad.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8FR5JDxwCY&feature=colike

this was one of the toughest thing i've ever done:you can be strong and have a good technique but you can REALLY be stopped by the pain from doing this feat.

I really do not feel confident with squat and I'm sure that my form sucks at all.

Grippers right hand

warm up:

2x12 rb 130

3 TNS hg 250

working:

coc 3,5 attempt(2-3 mm left)

coc 3,5 attempt(this one was better)

ghp 8(178 lbs)1 mms close

Left hand

warm up:

IM wrist roller on a bar at 5 feet:

70 kg both sides x2

Today went very bad probably one of the worst workout I've ever had i was tired and didn't feel myself motivated;

I think the best thing i can do in taking a week off.

Chest and triceps workout today.

Bench press:

2x8 60 kg

2x3 90 kg

1x 120 kg

1x 142 kg PR

1x3 130 kg

1x12 90 kg

1x6 90 kg

Barbell shrugs:

4x12 140 kg(1 minute rest between sets)

French press:

3x12 45 kg

Pull over:

3x20 20 kg

Good workout today,now i have got only one goal in mind:150 kg on the bench press.

Left hand:no workout due to wound.

My coc 3,5 is really a brick i think it's in the 185 range i need some gripper about 182 lbs.

Close grip pull up

4x12 BW +15 KG

abs workout

Finally today was my first try on my new blobs from gladiator power:

many lifts and farmers walk with the 20 kg one but the 25 blockweight is glued to the floor.

High reps on thumbscrews.

150 kg attempt failed(i could got this but i lost my balance for a moment and the weight went forward)

150 kg attempt failed(after the first one no way that i could do this)

5x6 110 kg

playing around with the 20 kg block weight,now i am very confident with this block but i completely teared the skin off my right thumb;

I felt very tired today but of course coming back to school after holidays is very tough LOL.

Barbell curls:

60 kg 1x12

Barbell shrugs:

150 kg 4x12

Pull ups DU:

BW 115 kg+15kg 5x8

Ez barbell curls:

40 kg 1x21

some levering workout with 3 kg axe

Vastus medialis training with powebands

Shoulders and triceps workout tonight!

Overhead press:

50 kg 2x5

70 kg 1x3

80 kg 1x2

90 kg failed(so close)

50 kg 2x12

One arm dumbbel press with fat gripz

45 kg many reps both hands

49 kg many reps both hands

52 kg two reps both hands

Never tried this before but its really awesome,i think my next purchase will be an inch dumbbell from gladiator power.

Some work with the 20 kg block weight:i teared the skin off from my thumbs obviously i have to work on their toughness.

French press

50 kg 3x8

some push up with bands till the failure

I'll take the rest of the week off in order to do a long TSG workout and hopefully to close my 3,5.

212 kg 1x1

224 kg 1x1

132 kg 3x8 snatch grip

I felt i had a lot more to give but i finished plates i have absolutely to buy some iron.

heavy stretching for shoulders.

Yesterday i had to hit bench press but was so (bad word filter)ing tired that i did only warm up.

Really hope that next week will be better.

It's a bummer, but sometimes you just have to do that. But least you got the warmups in so you won't be so sore next week! Haha

You are right man but i am pissed off cause i was really going very well on bench press and this 150 kg still eludes me cause of these shitty workouts.
