Rick Walker
I made mention on my Facebook page that I was no longer sharing Casey's videos or training numbers and I would let his actions on the platform speak for him. This is more for me then Casey as he is not on social media in any way, shape, or form. I feel like he is being slighted by kids that are not as strong as him and it angers me a bit, so come the Great Lakes 100% RAW in March, we have a score to settle. At any rate, I wanted to share what he did last night. At age 12 and a bodyweight of 107.4 (yes, we are SLOWLY gaining weight!!!) he deadlifted 250 x 11, dead stopping each rep. Keep in mind in October he pulled 270, so he did 20 pounds less for 11 reps. I would say his strength has increased exponentially. Smart training. Smart eating (required due to his type 1 diabetes). Smart sleeping. No quit attitude. There are a couple kids in his age bracket ducking him. I don't want to call them out, but when you are on Youtube videos as being "one of the strongest youth lifters" and you are afraid to go head to head with my son who gets no recognition, you are a paper champion. If you want to be the best, come beat the best. Keep in mind, he does this to help with football. He is still running sprints and distance work 3 times a week.
IROC-Z
Rick, my son is 11 and lately he is becoming more and more interested in strength training. He's been watching Casey's videos for motivation and I can't even tell you how impressed he is. Tell Casey to keep up the great work and please also tell him that he has a huge fan who's looking up to him here in WI.
