Jörg Keilbach
That's not bad at all on the rolling thunder! Do you have large hands Jörg? 22 cm Those are BIG hands! Nice! So You should try to train fatbar a lot to lift the InchDB! Yes, you are right. Just ordered a Pro Dumbell from FBBC. This will make progression a lot easyer. Please let me know what You think about this piece of equipment when You tried it! I will!
Jörg Keilbach
Fr. 25.09.2015 Couldn't do my squats and deadlifts today. As i warmed up, i felt the same pain slightly coming back. Didn't want to risk anything. I stoped after my second warm up set and continiued with grip. Rolling Thunder 3 sets as long as possible x 58 KG First set was about 15 sec. / last set about 10. Left Hand was a little weaker. 2-Hand Pinch 6 sets x1x 40,5 The weight of the implements is as always not counted. The last two weeks i was sitting in school all day. This makes me even more stiff as usally. I really have to stretch more. Now is stretching and foam rolling time!

burkhardmacht
Yes before i started the programm. 47,5 kg I've just found the posting about the max test - and the pic of the pinch implement. It seems to be pretty rough - good for reproducible results!!
Jörg Keilbach
The pinch implement is great as everything from Stronger Grip but my pinch strength is a shame!
burkhardmacht
The pinch implement is great as everything from Stronger Grip but my pinch strength is a shame! Try different pinch types - block weights, Hubs, Your pinch implement, plate pinch with 5, 10, 15 and 20kg plates, just different widths!

Geralt
I remember Chris Rice mentioning that you not need to push with the flat thumb against the surface, but more to the side of the thumb, with the thumb a bit curled. Hope you get the idea. Also, I read you need to imagine that you are not only lifting the weight, but also that you try to pull the plate apart while lifting, both hands to the outer sides. Technique makes a whole lot of difference. You're a big guy, I lifted 87kg first try on my Europinch, you can outlift me Jörg! Do it. Do it. Now. Do it. Royz
Try pushing your fingers towards your knees. Instead of focusing on squeezing. And try to be really tight, like with a deadlift... Do it do it!
Jörg Keilbach
A stronger pinch will also strengthen my gripper and thick bar strength. It is my weakest link.
Grind
Do you train grippers at this moment?
Jörg Keilbach
Do you train grippers at this moment? No i haven't done them the last few month. I had some elbow pain that got worse by doing grippers. By accident i found out that thick bar training helps to heal it.
