What is your best TNS close on both hands?

Thanks man. I'm not very good at grippers. I've TNS closed my ghp5 (113) with both hands, a double with my right. I don't think I could do it with my #2.5, which I guess to be about 125ish. I do really like TNS closes, more so than mms or blocksets.

TNS closing a #3 is very impressive btw! That's a long, long, looong term goal of mine.

It's a very different feeling with the bands added. You really have to accelerate through the movement to make the lockout. Hopefully this will ignite some much needed progress with the overhead pressing.

Too soon to tell really Chris. But I like them.They are not very technical so I think(hope) I'm doing them right. I do have a tendency to bend my elbows a little with the underhand grip. Probably shouldn't do that...

Had about 3 hours of sleep due to my toddler boy being ill. So I wasn't exactly feeling topnotch. Numbers where a bit down from what I was planning, but put in some good work I think. Having a little nag in my shoulder and will skip the next pressing session. Don't want it to get serious.

After the recent discussion on gripboard about the difference between Table No Set an No Set I realized I'm doing a No Set with my left hand. I can't get the gripper into a decent position with my left hand without using my off hand to position the gripper. Grippers feel more awkward in my left hand anyway because of the way the spring is wound. So I figure I'm allowed a bit of help. :whistel

Be careful with the shoulders indeed. Always the same, get a pr and immediatly the body seems to want revenge. Strong pressing man last time. Get well for the kiddo.

Haven't been able to squat for a couple of months, but my hip is feeling good again so I'm going to ease into it again. I'm really focusing on form now and hopefully the hip will remain injury free.

Still struggling with my technique. I feel I should be able to pull easier but I'm not using my leverage correct. Experimented with a slightly wider stance today, but that didn't feel any better at all. I think it might be better for me to bend my knees slightly less. Going to try that next time.

I think I'm going to write a book about training. Working title; 'ZOMBIE TRAINING', subtitle: 'How to train for young parents and other people who don't get any sleep'. I think there is a market for it... :huh:

Had about 4 hours sleep last night. My son is actually starting to sleep much better, but last night was terrible. I think he somehow knew I had to train the next day...

Woohoo. Although on that fourth rep I think I actually was about one inch away from true lockout. The fact that I even had the energy and the guts to even try a fourth rep is tiny breakthrough.
