After grippers I did few sets with my rubber band to work my extensors.

Last time I trained my grip when I was younger(7-8 years ago) I used to do more TNS work and then I was also near to close my easy COC3 with my right hand but I was a lot weaker with narrower sets.

Now,when I'm stronger with narrow sets and the TNS is weak,I think I will do combined trainings to see what will happen.

Maybe I will just mess everything up :huh:

It is very hard to work both narrow and wide sets also in my experience. Just keep pushing.

80mm pinch block lifts (pinch block + loading pin = 3,7kg)

Left and Right hand

Warm up with pony clamp

20kg x 5

20kg x 5

25kg x 5

30kg x 3

32kg x 1

32kg x 1

30kg x 3

30kg x 2

25kg x 7

25kg x 6

Cooling down with pony clamp

I didn't do this exercise for a while and I've improved the pinch with just lifting the blob with two hands.

I prefer to train with the blob because it takes less time and I don't have to add or remove weights from the loading pin when I use the pinch block but I don't know yet what exercise improves most the strength in the thumb.

Yesterday did some exercises for the biceps(dumbbell curls, ez-bar curls,and isometric holds),during the rests I played around with the sledge hammer and did some wrist curls with 10kg plate.

It was intense and the whole arms were very tight after the workout and sore.

Today I trained my biceps mixing some pullup and isometric holds.

After that I did some squeeze to my grippers.

I have to admit that last few week I started to train more with weights and I can feel that my forearms are more sore than usual and I'm not expecting that I'm going to improve with grippers,but by now I'm happy that I can still close the #3 and rep it.

Dragging blobs is one the simplest and most effective way to be successful w/ a goal blob and general wide pinch.

I'm not posting that much because I started to train for arm wrestling and I'm having different kinds od pain/soreness in my wrists,nothing bad,my wrists just have to get used to arm wrestling.

I will start to train again with grippers/blockweights soon.

Today did some triceps and biceps training and after that I played around with grippers.

The best I did was an almost braced close with both hands (1 mm away) of my easier COC 3 from table no set.

Now I can say that my wrists are fine and I feel no pain anymore.

Yesterday trained just my left hand with grippers after biceps workout.

Did 3 CCS attempts,missed all of them by 1 mm :/

Today played around with my grippers again,with both hands this time.

Missed again all the CCS attempts with BH by a hair every time.

Tried also to close the Elite and failed.

I will try to train more the MMS with harder gippers to complete the CCS closure.

Today after biceps workout squeezed my grippers a lil.

My best close was (I think was closed,if yes than that's my PB) a CCS close with my left hand.

Also did some try with my right hand and I'm almost there too.

The armwrestling training I started changed the strength in my hand, ATM I'm stronger with open hand and I should start again to train parallel sets or 20 mm block set with my harder #3.


I also did some drags and 2 hands isometric holds with my 25kg blockweight.

I just wanted to let you know that since yesterday I am staying in Dublin,Ireland.

Dunno how long I will stay here,atm I am in a hostel but from next week I will live in an apartment in D12/D13,not sure yet.

So,I will try to train just with grppers now.

Work or so? Enjoy your stay there. Maybe a fitness around? You wrote about training with your 25kg blob, I'm getting one this Friday, very curious to how it will feel!

From next week I will for sure train more,and I will try to find a gym near my new apartement.

My 25kg blockweight (ordered 8 years ago from heavygriptools from swchitzerland) is a beast compared to the BLOB50,but I cannot lift the blob50 with one hand yet :glare:

A couple of hours ago I've had my first gripper session here in Dublin where I finally closed my easier #3 with LH from CCS,so that would be my PR with LH.

I'm still fighting to close again the same gripper with my RH but the set is always wrong.
