10lb Slim Style Lever Attempt

Recommended Posts

So here is my absolute first time trying this event. Not as strong as I was hoping but that just means I have a lot of room for improvement. My hand wasn't all the way at the end of the handle but fairly close. Feel free to give me advice on technique, setup, programming etc, etc. Thanks for taking a look.

Frank, nice lever. Your technique looked good, the only comment I would have is that if your practicing for the upcoming Michigan contest, it will be done on the floor so you will not be able to lower your arm as much as you did in the video.

That's a really good point man...I didn't even think of that. I put it up on the porch so I could hang part of the handle off the end. I started at about half way up the handle and then moved down after each successful attempt. Thanks for the input Jeff I appreciate it! I'm gonna need all the tips I can get for this contest.
