Torsion Spring Gripper Storage

I'm curious how everyone stores their TSGs. I've seen the IronMind caddies and hooks on pegboard. Anyone care to share their standalone storage setup? (other than just thrown in a box :))

Thanks!

I hang them on nails pounded into the rafters of my basement ceiling.

I just got a piece of pegboard and some hooks and that's been adequate for me. I might have to reconfigure though as my collection has grown and I have a lot that are doubled up.

Instead of storing them why not display them instead?

I got plenty of examples in my gallery! :)

You are definitely using much better terminology than I did. That's actually along the lines of what I have in mind, usuable display. I LOVE your setups and will definitely be going back through your gallery pics again (not that I need an excuse to look at that gorgeous collection). Ideally, I'm looking for a standalone storage/display setup. I might build a stand with pegboard or something along those lines. I'm going through a move right now, and will be again shortly after this one, so I'm trying to find something that doesn't have to be permanently affixed.

I love grippers but I do nothing fancy when storing them. I keep all my grippers is a drawer. To me they are just tools to get stronger. I was never big on displaying them. Plus I have so many now that people might think I'm nuts if they came over. Its true but I don't want them thinking it  .

In a bucket. :shuriken:

It does satisfy the criterion of standalone and not in a box. LOL

I love it! :)

Chez, this is very true what you've stated buddy! I can imagine what some have wondered behind my thinking with my collection.

The beauty in your statement is the reality of individuals being different. For yourself, you see grippers as training tools and nothing more so for an individual like yourself there's no need to even consider displaying them unless it's for the purpose of access and some type of organization system (if you have many grippers) to make your selection for training days easier. On the other hand, you have an individual like myself that sees grippers as not only as a training tool (which they are) but as works of art that are worthy (in my mind) of being displayed for others to see. I must admit that 90% of my grippers stay on display and are rarely and sometimes (with certain grippers) never used.

  • 1 year later...

I know this is an older thread but I figured I would revive it some.

I found this rod and hooks at Ikea in the kitchen section, put it up in my workout space and its seems to work well. It's nice to keep the organized weakest to strongest and be able to just grab the one I want and not fish around for the right one in a box any more.

Mine used to hang on boards with hooks on the Wall but they got so heavy when my collection grew that the boards broke off the wall and fell to the ground.

Now they're hanging over the edge of a big bucket in order from weakest to heaviest and some are in the bucket.
