This information might be somewhere else, but could you clarify how the Final Score is calculated?

Great job by everyone who competed!

The weather was actually very pleasant, but yeah Jason, you probably would have been sweating

Final score is calculated as a percentage of the best lift for that event on that day. So for grippers for example, I closed a 160, and Aaron closed a 176. So on that event my score is 90.9% and his score is 100%.

Jared - we forgot to do the group photo. A number of people had to get back on the road back to Tucson, so we didn't do quite the same amount of drinking & lifting tricks we normally do afterwards.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

Had a great time at Martin's this year. Snapped a few pics during the comp and will try to get those uploaded when I can. Results just finished entering into the Database. Noticed the weight class was not correct on some of them when entering and fixed that in the DB. Was bummed we forgot to get a group pic, but had to leave fairly quickly after awards were done due to baby starting to go south.

Frank it was great to meet you too!

Jared, sorry we missed you. Hope your back is feeling better.

Already looking forward the next one,

Aaron

Another option for showing final results for the comp broke out by weight class. This is not on the NAGS site yet and is a contest specific test page on my site before I add it to the Gripsport.org site.

Btw, if anyone wants a contest specific link for their contest after it is complete let me know and I can generate that for you.

I love the awards!

Thanks! I made the scale all steel dumbells and Martin made the wood bases. I try to make nice custom trophies each year and these were leftovers from last year.
