JoshW
Like to see him bend a gold nail in singles, shouldn't be hard for him!
Juha Harju
When I competed at Russia Armlifting contest, after that Alexander bended this nail to me for remembrance.
EJ Livesey
He is an animal in doubles for sure. No question. Probably the best doubles bender right now. But the mechanics of a un-cut gold nail in singles is a world of difference from what he bent here.
richcottrell
As a very curious non-bender, what or more precisely how, exactly is the advantage of a shorter cut nail?. From the outside looking in, one would think a longer nail would offer more leverage not less. Either way, this was a true feat of strength. I would love to know more about Mr. Kirillov"s personal bio. Also, I am always wondering if he does those videos from some sort of store or machine shop? Either way he sure looks like a relaxed animal when he bent that gold!
Mike Sharkey
Longer is more leverage to a certain point when it then becomes mechanically disadvantageous to kink. A 6" Red Nail is easier for me to kink then a 7", though after 30 degrees then becomes more challenging.

Hannes Kainz
His crush is strong for sure, and he seems to be a massive DO bender also! He did a good job in this bar, congrats for that. But why should this bar be compairable with a gold nail?? I have not understand the spoken words ( russian?). Not the same diameter, and lengh. Mabe a harder steel???
AlexPritula
Kirillov is a very powerful bender in double wraps, but the rod is not a replica of the "IM Gold Nail", is a group of sports bars St. Petersburg, has parameters CRS 9 mm, and 7" length will be around 600 lbs! Kirillov bend Iron Grip bar 250 kg, but did not want to get on the list!
Hannes Kainz
Thank Alex for explaining! I was a little confused about the word "replica". Ist 9mm crs bar ok! With a 250Kg irongrip bar, he should be in KOAB area!
Frank Pizzo
Dang, his bending strength is just plain beastly! Great vid, thanks for sharing Joe.

David_wigren
Superb bend, but like some of the others mentioned, not a Gold nail. The Gold nail is a hair over 9.5mm thick.
