I have both of them, but without the extension handle. I also got two for beyond the range training. I like them a lot. I would part of one if somebody wants it.

Jorg, did you mean that you got two in order to only file one? I have an RB Adjustable as well. I only wish the handles were the same diameter as an Ironmind gripper. I've been tempted to file down one or both handles, but with the chrome and all I felt like I'd make a mess of it. May I ask how you got such a nice looking file job done?

No, they were custom made for me.

When buying from Mr. Baraban personally, you can talk with him about modifications.

He made one of his gripper with extended handel, little bit more expensive but no problem that he does

such things.

Ok as he is also from Austria and lives around 4 hours by car from me, it´s was no great deal.

He also called my by phone to talk about the things i wanted to have.

He is a nice guy!

I also have the same adjustable as Jörg has.

80% of my grip tools are from Baraban, because I live in Sweden.

I'm truly satisfied with these Products.

how do you like the one with the finger grooves handle?I haven't trained much with it yet but at this point I find it a bit uncomfortable when doing heavy negatives. If I could choose I'd choose one with an ext handle but without the finger grooves

I understand what you mean and agree with you.

I didn't notice that my pinky would be on the thicker spot before I buy this gripper.

I usually held the handle a bit higher than normal TSG to solve this problem, but I also felt a bit uncomfortable so I bought Secret Weapon for severe negative.

Right now I use this gripper as a Set training or Warmup gripper.

Actually this was my first gripper so I didn't even know how to train with it effectively and now if I could I would rather have one without finger grooves, yes :)

This Version was a free gift of Robert as a bonus. I don't like this, but i love the custom made with the filed handles. I bought a lot of stuff from him. I also bought the Secret Weapon. But i have not used it till now. I want to save negatives for a later stage.

Stupid question...

So the RB adjustable is symmetrical, right? Like the 2-3 setting could go either way as long as, overall, the spring is on notches 2 and 3..?

Completely Symmetrical, 2-3 would be the same level as 3-2 and the same in either hand, it's really a great addition, I use it for negatives mostly but probably not as much as I should.

I've got the chrome adjustable with extender handle (with grooves) - the grooves actually feel nice to roll in the gripper on harder sets. Below is a video review I did when I first got it.

Thanks for sharing, perhaps I will get used to it.That link is not working for me. I remember I tried watching it here before and says it's private

CPW is going to be carrying a base model version. Zinc-plated gripper, black bare spring. We feel that is the best price point and a total workhorse with no lost functionality.

to appreciate even more the small gaps on this gripper I combined the data. This also helps to use as a reference when you are training as it's hard to remember all this. I don't know RGC values when combining the two springs which gives even more possibilities

1-1 = 25 lbs (weak spring)
1-2 = 29 lbs (weak spring)
2-2 = 32 lbs (weak spring)
2-3 = 36 lbs (weak spring)
3-3 = 39 lbs (weak spring)
3-4 = 44 lbs (weak spring)
4-4 = 48 lbs (weak spring)
4-5 = 51 lbs (weak spring)
5-5 = 57 lbs (weak spring)
5-6 = 60 lbs (weak spring)
1-1 = 62 lbs (hard spring)
6-6 = 67 lbs (weak spring)
1-2 = 69 lbs (hard spring)
6-7 = 72 lbs (weak spring)
2-2 = 77 lbs (hard spring)
7-7 = 78 lbs (weak spring)
7-8 = 83 lbs (weak spring)
2-3 = 87 lbs (hard spring)
8-8 = 89 lbs (weak spring)
8-9 = 93 lbs (weak spring)
3-3 = 95 lbs (hard spring)
9-9 = 99 lbs (weak spring)
9-10= 104 lbs (weak spring)
3-4 = 105 lbs (hard spring)
10-10 = 112 lbs (weak spring)
4-4 = 115 lbs (hard spring)
4-5 = 126 lbs (hard spring)
5-5 = 137 lbs (hard spring)
5-6 = 147 lbs (hard spring)
6-6 = 160 lbs (hard spring)
6-7 = 169 lbs (hard spring)
7-7 = 181 lbs (hard spring)
7-8 = 194 lbs (hard spring)
8-8 = 204 lbs (hard spring)
8-9 = 214 lbs (hard spring)
9-9 = 229 lbs (hard spring)
9-10= 241 lbs (hard spring)
10-10= 252 lbs (hard spring)

Thank you for your reply!

I'm surprised that you noticed it!!

Since sweep of adjustable is harder than TSG's, so I used it and felt much better than without it when I did negative :-D
