Easy to close but difficulty with camera on the setting

For Luke, the set was off camera so it could not be seen. Hence, the reds by the judges.

You will get it next time Luke. Filming can be a very difficult part of the certification. I only let my sister film my certifications since she has the process down to a science.

We had the camera on a tripod....I think it would be better to have someone hold the camera to adjust to any movement or move closer to get a better view.

ya, I move around a lot on gripper closes so a tripod doesn't work for me. At least you know for next time.

It's more frustrating than anything knowing how easy it was to close...just a technical error. I think I may be able to cert on the MM2 shortly following doing the MM1 correctly!!!!

Can they be certed at the same time... 1 before 2? It'd be pretty dope to daisy chain certs

nah, you have to cert one at a time. You have to pass the first certification to qualify for the next certification.

part of the reason that the grippers have to be done 1 at a time is to avoid the potential for losing 2 grippers. also, lots of guys are superman until the day of the cert.

the closes looked good but the vid sucked. whatever method you decide on for taping next time practice that. when i get ready for a gripper cert I start doing my closes all on camera. develop good habits
