Possible Fall Az Comp

Estimating interest at this point. No name for it yet or definite venue. Events currently strongly considering are Block set Grippers, Euro 2HP, and FBBC 2" Crusher. Will be a simple comp with main goal of opportunity for chasing of comp PR's and getting together for some fun for whoever comes. No trophies or shirts and low or no entry fee depending on venue. City will be Tucson, AZ and date October 10th. Anyone interested?

As far as I know, I'm in. 2" crusher is on order from Andrew.

We should RGC the child grippers, and do a pinky/thumb close event for fun :sorcerer:

I'm 100% now, I feel stronger and have more flexibility then ever before.

Depending on how many are interested in coming Venue would either be my house or one of the local gym's. Toys of course would be available for after like the 2x5 Saxon Bar with bumpers for Pinch Oly lifts or DL, Gibson Plates for hubbing, Bending stock if you I hear of interest ahead of time, and other skunk works secret toys in development.

I think I've only ever had one of his brews. They seem to go pretty quick.

The Laphroaig Oaked scottish 90 shilling he brought out to the last local comp we did in 2013 was the best beer I have ever tasted. Was truly amazeballs.

Jason, you should come down. Will be cooling off by then.

I mentioned it to Gail. I'd need to get my ass in gear training. I just started playing with grippers again.

Griptoberfest is prefect! Also if at any time in the future shirts were to be made there's a lot of really cool option for images that could work into that name.

Jay, the one guy chatting on my thread is a strongman/highlands game competitor with a great grip. Very strong on the farmers walk and plays around with different grip feats.

That guy will mash grippers like nobody's business once he knows how to set.
