Pressing your BW is no easy task man strong! I recently pressed 165lbs above my head at 165lbs BW and I got stuck at the same point as you! But felt good finally locking out :D

Epic struggle to get that through the sticking point. Well done!

How do you train overhead press?

I've been hitting a brick wall in my progress for basically 3 years now. Best I've done is 1x90kg (198lbs), but I want to get to a body weight press as well. This would be 105kg (231lbs).

That's a feat to be proud of, David! I've always struggled with overhead pressing and am envious of guys like you pressing body weight and above.

Thanks Royz!!

As of now my overhead training is 2 times a week clean and press with barbell.

I work up to a near max for the day then drop to 80-90% for 3 sets of 1-3 pending on the day to finish up. I just added some reverse grip benching in the mix to see if this does anything for my tricep strength...You said you pressed 198lbs, that's very impressive weight!!

That was ultra strict! What you have done is my current goal... you have the same difficult position as I do!
