Taking this week off, but of course I had to do something. Did 4 1.5'' GHP block set closes with my 119 2.5 last night. Tried to get a good video but I just suck at filming closes.

Yeah buddy, back to training today and the week did me good.

Bending, DO style in single imps

A month ago i fought with the J drill rod for about ten minutes and couldn't barely get any movement on it. So this felt incredible today. Here is the vid

I also forgot to mention i got another big pr the other day, lifted the manna blob which i have been battling for a while. Here is that vid

Great workout. Everything was stronger after my week off and the thick grip rows felt easy. One thing I find really cool is how tough the skin on my hands has gotten since I've started bending. It is literally like leather now. I need to use a loofa to wash my face in the shower LOL

Dips are feeling good on the shoulder. I used to go brutally heavy on these. Maybe I can slowly work my way back up

Right: 3 holds with 48 lbs, roughly 5, 5 and 2 seconds respectively

Left: 3 holds with 48 lbs, 5, 3, 2 seconds

Blob drags with 41.8lb fatman

About 5 or 6 drags per hand. Then I did assisted lifts and took my off hand off and tried to hold on. This is my next block weight up from the Manna blob and it is a tall step up. Right now I'm far off from getting air under it but it too shall be conquered soon.

Awesome awesome workout. Decided to max with the sorinex block. I can lift less on this than I can with a wooden equivalent, and I believe 140 was my old max on the wood block. So I've definitely gotten stronger since the King Kong. Wide pinch is really coming along also. At the 4'' width, it just makes more sense to perform holds than reps. Very happy with my purchases from Sorinex.

Had a massive entry typed out before with all of the updates from my training sessions this week and the god damn computer crashed. So there ain't no way I'm typing it again lol. I did legs grippers thick bar wrists and back. All went very well,the end haha.

Legs - supersetted squats with each set of grippers. I did 7 sets of 10 reps with 195 pounds. Still going light on this exercise for my back. Back has been feeling very good the past few weeks. Let's keep our fingers crossed lol.

Yeah man! Huge PR with my overhead presses. I had another 5-10 pounds in the tank as well. This is the most weight I've ever pressed above my head. Working on building that red nail style strength :D

New bending PR! I didn't take a video today because I thought the bend would take a while and I didn't have much space left on my phone. But I finished it off in about a minute. Very proud with this bend. My skin felt tough and my flexibility has improved a lot, letting me really get the most out of the strength I already have in my upper body.

This week has been a little crazy....I went out of town for the entire weekend and wasn't able to work out. Then I did grippers Monday but being as I didn't rest much and didn't eat as much as I should have, my strength was down. Then, we were supposedly going to get hit with a huge snowstorm in New York and the gym closed for a few days as a precautionary measure. But we ended up getting a baby storm. I couldn't work out regardless lol. I did pinch this morning because the gym was still closed.

Monday January 26 Grippers, MMS all sets

Pissed I couldn't get that 140 GM, but the strength just wasn't there for this workout. Close to hitting a PR with my off hand.

Not bad, but not great. My arms have been feeling overworked and I've been slacking on my armaid. Going to be going harder with recovery. Tomorrow and Friday I'll catch up on my full body workouts.
