My Routine In Grip For The Next 12 Weeks.

Okey, I have had my 10 days of total rest.

I did loads of pullups and chinups today which made my grip somewhat tired but I decided to go for RT anyways.

After heavy chins, pullups and heavy rows I did;

RT;

18 reps lefty and 17 reps righty @ 72,5kg.

If I had done bench or legs today I think I would have gotten more than 20 reps each hand.

Never mind. It was til failure and it felt nice.

Next week Im repping 75kg and Im gonna try to beat the reps from today then :)

I can feel that the weights have reached a point where the reps are going down tho.

95kg 1rm in 8 weeks! For SURE

I trained some hub after RT and Im so weak on the hub that its pathetic.

I cant get 20kg off the ground.

I must sit down and look over my hub training.

Try to find some pattern/schedule that will get it up above 20kg atleast.

Trained a couple of days earlier than I was supposed to.

RT; 9 lefty and righty @ 75kg.

Next week its maxday. Time to beat that 87,5kg and maybe 90kg if Im lucky!

I noticed that after ~80% of 1rm the reps really drop for every increase in weight.

That should be some % to Messi with to get better gains, maybe.

Been feeling a cold coming on a couple of days and this morning i had a bad head ache and my brain ess filéad with snot, sore throat etc.

Afraid of getting worse and not being able to train I Trained grip 2-3 days earlier than supposed.

This halted my Max but i managed to do 6 reps both hands @ 77,5kg.

DO rackpull barholds, 5 sec holds@100kg, 130kg, 160kg, 180kg, 200kg, 210kg.

Max@180kg; 10 seconds.

~30sec rest between sets.

Cant wait for the next 30 days to pass by so can Max out on RT and hit 90kgs+!!

Then I get to train grippers, something I've been longing for since last year.

Today my friends ;) huuuuge PR in RT!

Did

10 bwsquats

10 squats with 1x 20kg kettlebell

10 squats with 2x 20kg kettlebells, I felt summin in the middle of my back, felt it for days. Like if the disco were compressed, no pain but fels strange.

6@45kg RT

10squats with 1 kb.

4@55kg RT

10 squats with 1 kb.

2@ 65kg RT

10 squats with 1 kb.

1@75kg RT

20 bwsquats

7 reps lefty!!!@80kg RT

3 full lifts and two reps that were 1/2 way up and dropped. PR but dissapointed that my right hand was behind so much.@80kg RT.

20 bwsquats

Good warmup. Too bad I couldnt use two bells due to my back.

They felt easy as all hell.

Did holds and reps on the hub afterwards.

Dropped down 2,5kg and did one allout set each hand.

Now for some planche core destruction.

15 bwsquats

15 squat 20kg kettlebell

6@45kg RT

15 squat 20kg kettlebell

4@55kg RT

15 squats 20kg kettlebell

2@65kg RT

5 squats 2x 20kg kettlebells

1@75kg RT

Rest ~ 5 min

@82,5kg RT lefty; 5 - righty; 2 almost 3. PRs.

5x5 squats 2x 20kg kettlebells between hub-sets.

Hub felt better than ever. Felt right in the hand/fingers.

Getting consistent with fingerplacement and such.

After I Max out Im doing the CTD challenge on video!

Im reppin 85kg next thursday and then there is 8-10 days of total rest for the hands.

Only some running in da woods.

After my last monstersession I was way off today.

Felt it on my warmup that this was going to suck hard.

Came up to a single @ 85kg RT and then i did 5 cheat reps and fought the weight on the way down each hand.

Resting til Sunday, August 3, then its maxxxxxing time!!!!!

Maxed out the other day and got 87,5kg both hands, and got half way with 90kg.

A bit dissapointing but hey, it may well be that I was fiddling with my new blockweights the day before ;)

Oh well, dont care really. 90 is soo close and now Im urging to get back into grippers and BLOCKWEIGHTS :)

I just read your complete log. The block weights surely hinderd your 90 KG goal. I really like your RT programming. I think I will use it in the future.
