8/13/14-Pullups/Triceps

Wtd Pullups: 90#(336# total) x 4, 5, 5, 5, 5, 1

Bw pullups: 75 reps in 7 sets: 1st set was 15r

Chain Tricep ext: 20-30r x 10 sets

Band Pushdowns: 5-10r x 10 sets

3" rolling handle: 65% x 6 x 6 sets

I was weak on my first set of wtd pulls today but made up for it on the last set. Didn't do fgx pullups today b/c I was doing 3" rolling handle. I'll get em' next week.

Here's my 4th set of 5 x 5. I kipped a bit on my last rep. I may be close to dropping to 4's.

Lol thanks brudda. I did 515 Trap bar about a year ago then tweaked my lower back shortly after and haven't done it for real since. I don't miss it either lol!

8/16/14- Dips/Nails

Wtd Dips: 110# x 3 x 7 sets

Double pause rep dips: Bw x 3 x 5 sets

Superset w nails: Up to a 430# bar 8 3/8" long x F

Drop to a 8" spike from home depot x Wobble

Wobbled a Red standing up then finished it sitting down (pretty hard)

Fgx DB curls: 15# x 25 x 8 sets

Dips felt really strong today I prob should have maxed them out but I'm going to stick to the plan. The 8" spike wobble was the first serious piece of metal over 8" that I have gotten to move so that's big progress.

Nice job wobbling the spike. Is it a 3/8 incher?

Yeah. Whatever metal it's made out of isn't super tough but it's at the upper limits of my bending capability over 8" so I need to get some more and start dominating those bastards before I take another shot at the 430# bar you sent me.

That's a pretty wicked crush you have there, dude. You stick primarily to ccs...not a mms guy? I bet you can mms a 3 and get it on video for mash monster level 0 pretty easily

Thanks brotha. Yeah I definitely stick with ccs for testing a max and I like the ghp block set for reps. My mms is very uncoordinated and awkward feeling with anything past a ghp 4 so I just don't get into it. The MMO is for sure a future goal though. I just need to put more time in.

I hear you, there's so much technique involved in setting that it's annoying. Any gripper in my left hand feels strange lol

8/27/14-

Wtd pullups: up to 99#(345# total) x 4 x 5 sets

Bw pullups: 80 reps/multiple sets. First set 17r

Chain tricep ext: 20-30r x 10 sets

Superset w/

Band pushdowns: 5-10r x 10 sets

Fgx pullups: 18r/multiple sets

Had to drop wtd pullups to sets of 4 this week. I jumped my weight 5# instead of 3 like usual. That coupled with a few extra lbs of water weight and I was up 7# total from last week. Kept the five total weighted sets and upped the bw volume to make it 100. Let's see how far I can push the 4's.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91peLMozREI&feature=youtu.be

8/30/14

Wtd Dips: 115# x 3 x 7 sets

Superset w/

Nails:

6" x 5/16th Grade 5 Bolt- F (I want this sucker)

8" x 3/8th spike- Pre wobbled- worked on

7" bar that i was told is 40# heavier than Red x 1

Red Nail x 2

Fgx seated chain curls: 20r x 10 sets- Super pump off these. Got the idea from Jedd on his 31 arm day quest. I highly recommend trying.

I hit 3 bars that were around Red Nail strength(including the two Reds) in one workout so I guess that's a volume PR.
