Hubgeezer Posted August 19, 2015 Share Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) I never mentioned or posted anything about Odd Haugen's grip contest at the inaugural Anaheim Fit Expo this weekend. From today's IronMind News: http://www.ironmind.com/news/FitExpo-Annaheim-Features-Odd-Haugen-Strength-Classic-Strongman-Mas-Wrestling-Grip/ This contest will have Rolling Thunder, Axle, Silver Bullet, and a medley. The medley will be putting items onto an 8 inch platform. Lots of blobs, dumbbells, some vbars. Nowhere approaching the Grip Nationals, but more variety than before in an Haugen contest. I am dragging my vbars down there. I am prepared to be embarrassed on the Medley. I certainly can't pick up a Fat Bastard two inch vbar 8 inches high and set on a platform with something weighing 250 lbs. or so. And, I have never trained or cared about blobs either. Curious if there will be any "new" grip people there. Hbgzr Where is "Anheim" you ask? Germany? Sorry, that would be Anaheim, California. Curious I live in Los Angeles and was going to drive down and compete but was too damn busy with work!
