I have never been able to gain easily, I just don't like what I have to eat lol. I had an incurable bowel disease which I managed to cure by using a certain diet and it got boring and tasteless - I either learnt to eat for fuel, and ignore taste, or live with the disease. Most of my calories come from grass-fed butter (fat) rather than carbs, which cause me a lot of problems. Chowing through 250g of butter a day gets repetitive and disgusting after a while lol.
