off to south africa for 6 weeks but bringing my grippers. #3 will be shut when i come back.
Broke the INCH DB off the ground for the first time last night....followed it with 3 more times!
mudhutmasherIncredible.. It took over two years of grip training, and over a year of actually owning and constantly messing with an inch db for me to get air with it. Im jelly.

LucasraymondYour lift inspired me brother...I havent really tried to lift it but have been doing a lot of thick bar training.
Jul 25 2014 04:22 AM
Stephen RubyGreat job, you and jedd have made one of the best duo in grip this past year. You both have made tremendous progress. No doubt you will double lift the inch with current rate.

Anyone got some ideas of decent numbers for a 3 inch pinch (double handed)? Hit 73.5KG (162lbs) for 3 reps, want to see how it compares.
Andrew PNever did it with 2 hands but with 1 hand I can get 70#
Jul 21 2014 10:32 AM
MIGHTYSAXONyeah anywhere above 160 is good man what are you using for your pinch?
Jul 22 2014 09:44 AM
BenMorrisseyMy local blacksmith had some square iron tubing lying around, so got him to weld a bent piece of metal to the bottom. In the optimal position, my fingers are maybe 1mm lower than the bottom edge, but I can't do anything about that.

Crushed a red nail down bare handed yesterday, not as bad as you would think. If I can find another red I'll make vid.

Been real weak lately. Can't close any grippers or bend anything. I miss feeling strong.
wulfgeatI am right there with you two. My upper back is pissed. Especially, but not limited to: my left teres major, and my left lower trap.
Jul 08 2014 07:17 AM

Ordering my first horseshoes. Time to try a new aspect of training!
wulfgeatDefinately post videos of your progress! I don't think we could ever have too many horseshoe benders.
Jul 05 2014 03:13 PM
EJ LiveseyMake sure to watch the obliques. Tearing one off the cage and ripping connective tissue between ribs is HORRIBLE. Ask me how I know.
Jul 05 2014 11:24 PM
JoshWWill watch out EJ, you seem to have had your fair share of injuries! Will post a video of my first try& progress!
