GripAustria
Please does someone have experience with training with a double filled Baraban Adjustable? Has it any carryover to torsion spring grippers? Could it replace the training with TSG grippers when your goal is to close a certain TSG? Any kind of experiences or thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Chez
I have used adjustables including the baraban, Vulcan and GD 90 but they weren't filed. they are are fantastic tools however in my opinion if your goal is to close big torsion spring grippers you still need to train with torsion spring grippers and only supplement with the adjustables. Adjustables have a different feel since they are hard at the start so they will help your set strength but they don't ramp up like torsion so your top end crush power may suffer long term if you train them exclusively. Thanks in advance. I have a Vatiz gripper which like your RB is adjustable, and I agree with Chez, for the first month I grew a lot, but then because I neglected my torsion spring grippers, I made slow to no gains. So I recommend impliment both and if you're interested, get mini-grippers like the I.M Tug which can train 1-2 fingers at a time. All these I use for training.
