Are the RRBT and KTA programs worth reading even if you aren't going to use them for some time?

I am doing just fine with my current gripper programming but was wondering if it is worth paying for either of these programs (which I will likely use in the future anyway) just to do some background reading and learn a little more about programming for grippers.
