Well, this was unexpected considering I haven't trained any grippers for like 2-3 months. Awesome that I was able to get this by a hair.

Gratz with this strong close!

What made you decide to go for the MM4 at this moment?

Thanks

@Grind after seeing @Squeezus do the MM4, I wanted to see how far I am right now since I've stopped grippers (most of this year I haven't focus on grippers and more 1h pinching and some thick bar really). I tested out my current gripper max with my BTR GHP8 (183), cold with no warm up, to see what I could do. I closed it and remembered that this was the same gripper that allowed me to close the MM3. I read the MM3 and MM4 are about the same in strength (felt like about 3-4 lbs difference from what I could tell) and just asked myself 'why not? See what you can do and it doesn't matter if you certify or not.' Not making light of the gripper and those who make the effort to certify, currently I'm not big on grippers. Really, I don't think I know why I wanted to really certify this gripper, lost interest after certifying on the MM3, that was the only gripper I really wanted.
