I have one. Would sell it for 20 € shipped.

Not exactly the same, but you can Train the lift.

You could try crane supply or google chain loading or chain lashing, some of these sites have that kind of thing. I was given some chain (Westside style training) by a friend sometime back and this had a 6-7 inch diameter ring on it apparently they use them for securing loads or something.

(it was a little less than circular having been well used- but I still have it somewhere and intend to use it for lifting with a loading pin... eventually).

Just had a quick look around found this: bit small maybe at 100mm diameter (what siz are you looking for?)

Have you used these before? They have some cheap wrought iron half sphere's that can be used to make a circus dumbbell and some solid spheres that can be used for dexterity balls

I haven't used them Sam, but came across them while looking for grip toys, spheres and possibly bars. Also option to make a 'glob or glob trainer.

Lots of interesting stuff. The company is well established too (est 1889) and centres  in the North

http://www.fhbrundle.co.uk/products/051325103__Solid_Smooth_Sphere_Diameter_150mm ~13.8kg getting a bit big at about 6" diameter

I thought the larger spheres might make good block weights if I knew someone who could grind them down a bit.

The forged spheres look easier to grip  all might be light but being spheres wouldn't be easy to grip!

All I need now is some money (serves me right for moving house and getting another mortgage!) and a friend with a workshop!

This place looks interesting too:

Shame the postage is £10 even for some 50mm solid balls that cost less than £1 each

Yes but I think I remember they can deliver to a depot near you and you can pick up from there (I think I remember this...) or just buy lots ! :)
