Teemu I
Had to take a break from all training, I've had high fever for many days. Strange thing was I had no typical flu symptoms. Well, went to a doctor finally yesterday and it turns out I have ear infection! That's something small kids have...weird.

Teemu I
Is it still legal to revive this log? Anyway, I will. Last time I trained grip was preparing for the 2016 World’s Strongest Hands. I thought I was freed of the obsession, but no. I think I am going to hit it hard to see what I can do in 2020, when I turn 40. This gripper is a 2005 IM #3 of harder side. This is weakest my grip has been since 2006. Happy to see #3 is still the baseline. So it begins, again. 9F664954-D75C-450B-BE4E-5AEAD4ECC830.MOV

Teemu I
It has been too long, it felt terrible, but it was fun: https://youtu.be/kLJ9QDuyi8M Not going to publicly announce any goals. But I kind of liked the idea of doing atleast some grip training.

Teemu I
20.1.2020 1. Gripper OC 5 x 1 x 3 sec OC @ #3.5 2. Dynamic thumb, Vulcan with thumbscrews 5 x 1 x 3 sec OC @ Easiest setting with orange spring I felt it and see it on video as well, that I need to get my wrist strength back to normal again. Technique is seriously off at the moment just because wrist strength isn’t what it used to be. I intend to alternate between this workout and another that will consist of thick bar wrist curls and RT/Silarukov thick handle. Teemu I
25.1.2020 Kettlebell swings like it’s 2005. 4 x 30 x 16 kg. Standing one-legged calf rises. After two disc herniations back in 2016 my calves lost a lot of strength. Need to work on that. Edited January 25, 2020 by Teemu I

Chez
Good to see you back training and logging. You retained a crazy amount of crush strength
bencrush
@Teemu IYes, great to see you back at it! And I'm jealous of the insane amount of grip strength you retained after a big layoff.
Magiclifts321
which discs did you herniate? how long was your recovery and are you still able to do like rolling thunder and axle etc? I herniated two discs myself and am debating whether or not its even worth it to go back to any squat or deadlift variations
