Dumbbell Wrist-curling A 70 Pounder For 25 Reps....

5 posts in this topic

Ok, the lighting in this video is not the greatest. I must have had the camera on the wrong setting or something, trust me, I don't train in the dark.

The form - as always - is pretty tight. I try never to jerk or swing anything. My Max effort for reps with this weight is 50 reps done back in "07". My best ever in this movement for reps is 100 pounder for 25 reps also done back in "07". My best ever 1RM is 140 pounds.

Now that I have these shoulder surgeries out of the way and I'm healing, I'm trying to get strong again. I just have to be careful not to add weight faster than my shoulder is healing.

Hope you enjoy the video

Oh, I turn 57 years old in about 10 weeks.

No...It loaded fine for me.

Great job by the way, slow and steady is always the smartest way to come back from any injury. That being said, even after a lay off from injury and the subsequent surgery your wrist curl is still pretty strong!

I can't view it with my phone but I'm guessing I probably will be able to on the computer.

Good job though!

Thanks guys.. I can't view it at all for some reason. And all the other videos I have posted I can view with no problem. So I'm not sure what is going on. But thanks. Yea, I just need to take it slow and easy. My surgeon said not to add weight anywhere that would stress the shoulder faster than it is healing. You would be surprised how many movements that you can actually feel in the shoulder when it is still healing. Even gripping I feel in the shoulder.
